Writing a book

After sharing my stories of the horrible things I always faced in school, my friends always encouraged me to write a book. I'm pretty interested to write one, but don't know where to start from. I guess, no point starting from the scratch. My blog is my book.

Today I wanna criticize protective and defensive parents yet again.

I brought some pupils out for competition today. At 1pm, the players had their lunch and were warming up at the multi purpose hall. I was shocked to find out that one pupil did not bring his bat! I was disgusted by his attitude. He said he didn't play during the first and second day, thus he shouldn't be playing and so he did not bring his bat. Terrible attitude. Why did he even bother coming at all? He knew that his dad will be going for the competition but he didn't even bother to call his dad to bring his bat.

To cut the long story short, his dad brought his bat for him. He came over to me and explained why his son did not bring his bat. He said it's his mum's fault for taking the bat out of his bag.

Next up, while our pupils were playing against a very strong team, he threw a ball out. When I asked why he did that, his peers told me he told them that he wanted to distract the opponent. What an unsportsmanlike behaviour. I walked over and scolded him angrily. He said he just wanted to throw at the blue barrier. Whatever his reasons were, he was supposed to be cheering for his teammates and not doing something else. I was disgusted when the dad came over and defended his son's actions again. He said he knew his son. He was just trying to throw the ball at the barrier because he was anxious about his match. He also told me that he would coach his son himself. Sure! WHATEVER! Seriously, now I truly understand why the boy is like that.

The same boy pissed me off again today during training when he just stood around watching his peers play. From 1.30pm to 5pm, he stood around watching. He went around disturbing others and spraying water at others. That explains his unpolished skills. I really feel like taking him out of the school team. We don't need such an uninterested player who refused to train. I mean, what's the point of coming for training then? Why is he here?

These few weeks on news, the whooha was on the maid who carried the bag for the NS man. What has our next generation become? They are so dependent on others to cover their backside for them. Maybe one day the news will show the parents carrying bag for the sons and the parents writing in to defend their sons when their sons couldn't hold the rifle properly or wear their uniform correctly.

Can I still live in Singapore? Will Singapore still be safe by then?
